Labuan International Sea Challenge 2008 was officiated last night at Plaza Arena, Labuan International Sea Sport Complex. The event started around 8.45 due to some glitch in schedule. Among other official and government officers in attendance, the event also attended by participants (majorly) for the Deep Sea Challenge for this year LISC that will be held the next morning.

In his speech, YB Yusoff Mahal hope for the effectiveness of Labuan International Sea Challenge to bring more boost in local economy as well introducing the island as a major spot for sea sports.

Three singers were invited to entertain the audience, such as Farhan AF, Peter Dicky Lee and Atama; Sabahan born hip hop artist.
