Labuan Bird Park located on a 6.9 hectares of land with a futuristic looking dome structure complemented by a traditionally shaped timber building, showcases the Labuan Bird's Park.
Strategically situated at Tanjung Kubong, 16km, North of Labuan Town, the park lies next to a century old, but historical and significant coal mining chimney which itself is tourist landmark.

Incorporated into the unique architectual concept, shaped like a "Geodesic Dome", is the Walk-In Aviary. With the main dome at 120 feet in diameter and 60 feet high, and inter-connected by two other secondary domes at 60 feet diameter and 30 feet high.

The aviary houses many avian birds of all species and varieties both tropically and Borneon. For an additional touch of the natural surroundings inside, various kinds of green plants, shrubs, herbs and many other greeneries are also planted and preserved. Getting to the park
Taxi services can be found around town or at the airport, and it only takes 20 minutes to get to the park. Cheaper options are the Mini buses operating from town. Since these buses travel almost around the island, travellers can enjoy the scenic view of the island's "kampung" life before getting off at the Bird's Park. Both taxis and mini buses can provide chartered services for those travelling in large groups.
